The Sciton BBL BroadBand Light is a revolutionary energy based technology that can treat a wide range of skin conditions by applying broadband light to the outer layer of the skin, stimulating collagen regeneration and changing the structure of skin cells at a molecular level. Commonly referred to as a photo facial, Sciton BBL is an effective treatment for reducing the signs of aging, sun damage, redness, and acne scars.
The treatment can be done on almost all parts of the body, although it is commonly used on the face, neck, chest, and hands. The number of recommended treatments varies based on the condition being treated and the patient’s desired results. Best results are usually seen after 3-6 treatments spaced 3 weeks apart. Sciton BBL can also be combined with other treatments such as VI Peel, Genius RF Microneedling, Neogen, and other customized treatments to enhance your results. Sciton BBL is a non-invasive treatment that requires minimal downtime. After the procedure, the skin may appear red, and any dark spots may look darker temporarily. However, most redness disappears within a few hours, and any remaining pinkness fades over the next 7-10 days. Patients with darker pigmentation may experience mild flaking or peeling 1-2 weeks after treatment. Your provider will recommend a topical skin product to improve your recovery and results. Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. Over the next few weeks, the skin becomes smoother, and wrinkles and other fine lines become less noticeable.

From the moment we met Dr. Lyle, we knew we had chosen the perfect doctor to perform my daughter’s breast reduction. The entire office and surgical staff was kind and welcoming and calmed her nerves. I have, literally, always been self-conscious about the shape of my breasts.
