Surgical Technique
For neck lift surgery, general anesthesia is used. An incision is placed just in front or behind your ears, and another one might also be created beneath your chin. If pockets of fat exist, liposuction would be the first step in the surgical process. What to Expect

You should rest and try to avoid exercise or strenuous movements and activities for a couple of weeks to assist in a safe recovery. During this time, loose clothing should be worn.
