About NCMA

The North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) has been enriching the state of North Carolina and the Raleigh community since 1924 when it was established by the North Carolina State Art Society. Since then, its mission has been to inspire and create a space for creative individuals to engage with the art around them. Not only does the NCMA boast a wide collection of paintings, but they also offer an outdoor Museum Park and trails that feature temporary exhibits and outdoor pieces to admire. You can also find different events such as film festivals, fashion design features, performance pieces, and other unique entertainment opportunities.
