A Zoom Lift is a minimally invasive Neck lift procedure, also called My Ellevate, pioneered by Dr. Gregory Mueller, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California. It is called Zoom lift because the recent increase in the use of Zoom Meetings has caused many people to be more self-conscious about their neck appearance.
The procedure usually involves some liposuction of the neck and perhaps a skin tightening device in addition to an internal suspension suture, which helps to elevate neck tissues and improve the appearance of the jawline. It is usually done under local anesthesia only or with a light oral sedative and can be done in less than 1-1/2 hours with fairly minimal downtime. It is helpful for people who are not quite ready or do not have the significant excess skin that would require a full open surgical neck lift.
It is not the same as a surgical neck lift; however, for selected patients, they can achieve nearly the same results. Results do take several months to become fully apparent.
Concern and Surgery
This 62-year-old woman did not like the appearance of her neck, but she really didn’t have a lot of loose skin, so she had liposuction of a small amount of neck fat and placement of the internal suture, which is not visible. Only a small – less than 1/4 inch – scar under the chin and under the earlobe is necessary and generally is not visible. Recovery is about 3-4 days, followed by about another week of use of a compressive chin strap.

She was pleased with the result.
