A Zoom Lift Is a minimally invasive Neck lift procedure also called My Ellevate Pioneered by Dr. Gregory Mueller, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California. It is called Zoom lift because the recent increase in the use of Zoom Meetings cause many people to be more self-conscious about there neck appearance.

The procedure involves usually some liposuction of the neck and perhaps a skin tightening device in addition to a internal suspension suture which helps to elevate neck tissues and improve the appearance of the jawline. It usually is done under local anesthesia only or with a light oral sedative and can be done in less than 1-1/2 hours with fairly minimal down time. It is helpful for people who are not quite ready nor have the significant excess skin that would require a full open surgical neck lift.

It is not the same as a surgical neck lift however for selected patients, they can achieve nearly the same results. Results do take several months to become fully apparent.

This 62-year-old woman did not like the appearance of her neck but she really didn't have a lot of loose skin so she had liposuction of a small amount of neck fat and placement of the internal suture which is not visible. Only a small- less than 1/4 inch scar under the chin and under the earlobe is necessary and generally are not visible. Recovery is about 3-4 days followed by about another week of use of a compressive chin strap. She was pleased with the result.
