The ZOOM lift Is another term for the My Ellevate Procedure which is a minimally invasive the neck lift pioneered by Dr. Gregory Mueller from Beverly Hills California. The procedure is frequently done with local anesthesia and light sedation and involves smaller incisions under the earlobes and under the chin with liposuction and sometimes a skin tightening device with placement of a percutaneous suspension suture which is placed under the skin through punctures which don't leave scars and the device helps to tighten and support the upper neck and jawline area.

The procedure takes 1- to 1-1/2 hours and has a fairly rapid recovery. It is advised to take at least 3-4 days of recovery as it is beneficial to wear a compression strap on your neck and chin so recovery can sometimes just involve a long weekend. Results are not necessarily immediate and take up to 3 months to become fully apparent. Not everyone is a good candidate. Skin tone has to be reasonable and there cannot be too much excess skin.

Open neck lift procedure may be necessary for patients with significant deformity or skin excess.
This procedure is becoming more and more popular especially with the frequency of Zoom meetings where patients become much more self-conscious about the appearance of the neck. The cost is about half of what a open neck lift is.
