This 52-year-old woman noted loose skin of her neck which was even more noticeable when flexing her neck looking at her phone. She was hopeful to avoid major surgery. She underwent a minimally invasive neck lift which involved the use of the I Glide technology with Renuvion. The I Glide is a minimally invasive suture suspension technique which supports the neck tissue. The Renuvion device, is also minimally invasive and involves radiofrequency tightening of loose skin. This procedure was done with local anesthesia with an oral sedative and took just over 1 hour. The results were almost immediate with recovery of close to 1 week. Patients wear a light compression chin strap for up to 1 week while the tissues heal. Although results are initially very noticeable they actually improve with time as the radiofrequency energy effect tends to tighten over time. She was ecstatic with the outcome. Virtually no scar was present on her neck other than a small quarter inch scar under her chin and just behind the earlobes. This is also called the My Ellevate Procedure and recently was nicknamed the "Zoom Lift" which is a reference to the increased use of Zoom meetings and patient's concern about the appearance of their neck during these sessions. The cost of this procedure is under $5000. Typically, patients are advised to wear there chin strap and a cervical collar for the first 3 days and usually avoid going out in public for this timeframe. Minimal pain is associated.
