This 63-year-old woman had an upper blepharoplasty (sometimes called "Eyelid lift", or "Eye Enhancement". Or most commonly known as simply a " bleph". She chose Dr. Glenn Lyle as her surgeon. She was concerned that drooping tissue surrounding her eyes caused her to appear more tired than she would want and limited her sight somewhat. After this she feels her facial appearance is refreshed because of a reduction in loose skin of the eyelids. This patient pointed out that she believed the professional manner from Dr. Glenn Lyle exceeded her expectations in every way. Upper blepharoplasty is one of the single most effective procedures in rejuvenating the face. It has relatively quick recovery of about a week or so with some swelling, bruising and sutures in place. During this time most patients remain at home. After the sutures are removed -another week of limited activities and perhaps wearing dark glasses might be beneficial. Scars are usually very minimal as we all have creases in our upper eyelids and the skin is very thin- resulting in a very fine line scar. Patients generally report a refreshed appearance and rarely do friends suspect they have had surgery. They just look better!
