This 50-year-old woman noted heavy hooding of her upper eyelids with the skin resting on her eyelashes. She felt that she always looked tired and that this appearance aged her facial appearance. She underwent upper blepharoplasty which involves removal of excess skin and fatty tissue from the upper eyelid.
