Breast lift- also known as Mastopexy is a powerful cosmetic procedure that reshapes the breast and repositions the nipple to a higher position on the breast mound. The width of the breast is reduced resulting in a "perkier" breast. A small amount of reduction is usually done at the same time in women wishing to be smaller. A breast reduction involves more significant reduction of tissue, but there is no formal distinction between a small reduction and breast lift.
