The term Mommy Make over refers to a combination of surgical procedures to address the signs of postpartum changes in the breast and abdomen. Typically it is a tummy tuck but it could be a mini tummy tuck or liposuction. The breast procedure can range from breast reduction to breast lift to augmentation mastopexy or augmentation alone. Therefore there is really no definitive definition of the procedure. This patient is a 42-year-old mother of 3 children who had previous breast augmentation approximately 12 years prior. With pregnancy and aging she developed drooping of the breasts and a were larger than she wished to have. She hopes to have somewhat smaller breasts but lifted and also was looking for abdominoplasty to address her sagging loose skin of her abdomen. Dr. Lyle performed implant exchange from 500 cc gel implants down to 3 30 cc implants -With mastopexy. He also performed liposuction of the flanks and abdomen with abdominoplasty with diastases repair. He uses Exparel to help with the postoperative pain and she did very well taking about 2 weeks to recover to get back to some normal activities. She is very pleased with her new appearance and is considering further surgery to address additional liposuction with fat transfer to the buttock. This procedure is typically not done at the same time as the Mommy makeover although in some circumstances it can be done
