This 39-year-old woman bore 3 children by C-section. Years after her final pregnancy she still felt that she looked pregnant with loose skin and stretched out abdominal muscles. She also was never happy with her breast size, but they got much smaller after pregnancy, and she desired to go from a B cup to a DD. She also wished to have saline implants however with the size desired it was recommended that the Ideal implant might be her best choice. Ideal implants, also known as structured implants, are saline devices with an internal structure which reduces rippling and palpability but has the benefit of immediate detection of implant leakage since they are saline. Recently- the company went bankrupt. These implants are now distributed by Bimini Medical The patient underwent abdominoplasty with some liposuction of her flanks and diastases repair. She underwent bilateral breast augmentation with 475 cc Ideal breast implants. She was very happy with the results and felt she could now go to the beach with bathing suits without being self-conscious.

Dr. Glenn Lyle is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving the Raleigh, NC community at Lyle Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Center since 2002. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in breast surgery and body contouring, to enhance patients' appearance after weight loss, pregnancy, and the effects of aging.

Dr. Lyle completed his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society (Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons society).
