Abdominoplasty Removes Unsightly Hysterectomy Scar in North Carolina

This 58-year-old woman had a prior hysterectomy scar which left a significant indentation in her lower mid abdomen. She also had a abdominal pannus which did not improve despite exercise. She desired cosmetic improvement. She did have a number of the abdominal tattoos that she was told would be partially removed during abdominoplasty. She underwent abdominoplasty with complete removal of her hysterectomy scar and some of the tattoos. She was very happy with the improvements made with the scar gone to a much better contour. Patient had the tattoos redone.
