Extended Breast Reduction in Raleigh, NC Before and Afters
Concern
This 45-year-old woman had bariatric surgery but only lost about 50 pounds. She was still obese and has large pendulous breasts with back rolls. She had undergone a circumferential abdominoplasty and brachioplasty by Dr. Lyle in the past. She now wanted her breasts lifted and reduced.
Surgery
She underwent an extended breast reduction which includes removal of excess skin and fat from the bra roll back with resultant improvement in her rolls of excess skin in the back as well as lifting and reduction of her breasts with over 600 g of breast tissue removed from each side. Because of her obesity this procedure was performed in a hospital setting as an outpatient.
Result
The patient was very pleased with her outcome and although still quite overweight she was more comfortable in her clothing after 2 separate surgeries by Dr. Glenn Lyle in Raleigh, North Carolina.
