What to Expect During Your Medspa Consultation
All patients at Lyle Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center in Raleigh who are new to the med spa receive a full medical evaluation and consultation under the direction of Dr. Glenn Lyle by his PA, Haley Self. The aim is to provide you with a comprehensive approach to further understand and address your skin concerns, as well as educate you on preventative measures you can take to maintain the integrity of your skin. During this appointment, you will be given an “areas of interest” form to fill out upon your arrival so that, during your evaluation, those specific areas can be addressed. From there, a thorough health intake will be conducted to ensure you are medically cleared for any treatment of interest. Your skin Fitzpatrick type will be noted, and you will receive a 3D Imaging by our “Image Pro” device to give you a look inside your very own skin. With a full skin analysis, you and your provider will be able to see your degree of pigmentation, pore size, depth of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as check the moisture level of your skin. Your provider will review the findings from the scan and then recommend the most appropriate aesthetic services to treat your areas of concern.
At Lyle Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics Center, we provide treatment plans to best suit you and your budget. Financing options are available as well to keep the flexibility and comfort level of monthly payments in your hands.
Though same day treatments are available on your consultation day for treatments like neurotoxins, more often than not, most treatments will be scheduled for a future date to align with your provider’s schedule and/or to ensure all pre-treatment requirements are met. Such as ensuring you’ve been out of the sun for a given amount of time and have adequately hydrated for some of our most popular device treatments like NeoGen PSR and Sciton BBL.
