Removal of Ruptured Implants with Augmentation Mastopexy in Raleigh, NC
This 45-year-old Raleigh woman had prior submuscular augmentation. She lost weight and suffered drooping of her breasts over the implants. This is sometimes called a Snoopy Dog appearance after the Peanuts character whose nose would represent the nipple. implants were suspected of being ruptured so she had them explanted and new 400 cc gel implants placed with breast lifting. She also had a reverse abdominoplasty and therefore scars extend across her chest.
