During the COVID pandemic, the advent of virtual video conferencing has made many patients more self-conscious about the appearance of their neck; especially when looking downward. There are number of treatment modalities to address this. Minimal fat deposits can be treated with Kybella injections. Minimally invasive procedures which can help tighten skin or removed fat include liposuction, Facetite, Thermage, Thermi RF and Ultherapy to name a few. Some patients will require a formal Neck Lift or even a Facelift.
The "Zoom lift" - just written about in Elle magazine, is a minimally invasive procedure invented by Dr. Gregory Mueller in Beverly Hills California. Also known as the My Ellevate procedure, it utilizes a thread or suture inserted through punctures to support the soft tissues under the jawline in conjunction with liposuction and/or skin tightening technology. It utilizes the I Glide device which allows the surgeon to tighten soft tissue the virtually scarless incisions in the neck. Liposuction is often used and does require somewhat larger incisions but typically hidden under the chin and under the earlobe.
This 47-year-old woman had Vaser liposuction of her neck and submental area with placement of the I Glide Suture leaving her with minimal if any scarring other than small incision under the chin. Results were dramatic, with an improved jawline. This procedure can be done with local anesthetic with mild oral sedation. Recovery is 3 days to 1 week.

With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in breast surgery and body contouring, to enhance patients' appearance after weight loss, pregnancy, and the effects of aging.

Dr. Lyle completed his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
