Can You Get Breast Implants After Breast Reduction?
Concern
It is not uncommon with women who have had prior breast reduction to go on to lose weight and then will be dissatisfied with her breast size. This is especially more common now that people are using GLP-1 to lose weight. Breast augmentation after breast reduction can be done safely. Positioning of the implants can be under the muscle or on top. In some cases, the breast reduction incisions have to be modified almost like a breast lift if there has been ongoing sagging of the breast tissue.
Surgery
This 60-year-old woman had undergone a breast reduction just over a year ago but she then went on to lose 25 pounds with GLP-1. She now regretted the breast reduction and wished to have restoration of some volume in her breasts.
