This 44 year old woman had a prior right breast lumpectomy for cancer and required post op radiation. She developed significant scarring and pain in her right breast. She had large breasts and always wanted them reduced. Many patients would have been offered “oncoplastic reduction” which is a large lumpectomy and reduction but she was not offered that with her initial treatment team. She wanted smaller breasts and relief from her distorted breasts. He performed a breast reduction which is always more challenging working with radiated tissue. The patient also wanted a tummy tuck at the same time. She was otherwise very healthy so a combined Breast reduction and tummy tuck was done. ( Mommy Makeover). She had relief from her reduction and was very pleased with her new tummy.
