Mastopexy or Breast Lift Improves Shape And Nipple Position-Raleigh, NC
This is a 39-year-old woman who had double D cup breasts and desired small amount of downsizing and lifting and reshaping of her breasts. She generally was okay with her size just somewhat smaller and did not want breast implants. She underwent a full mastopexy done under general anesthesia in Dr. Lyle’s fully accredited outpatient surgical facility. She had a fairly easy recovery with return to work in a week .wearing a light support bra. Her incisions were treated with silicone tape and silicone creams to improve the appearance. She was very happy with her newly shaped breasts which were slightly smaller down to a D cup. Mastopexy is very similar to breast reduction but generally involves lesser removal of tissue. The scar patterns are similar. Mastopexy sometimes is combined with breast augmentation for women with inadequate tissue volume.
