2 year Follow-up Photo after Mastopexy/Extended Abdominoplasty , Raleigh, NC

This 44-year-old patient had after weight loss surgery -In her case mastopexy and extended abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Glenn Lyle 2 years ago.. Even following an extraordinary weight loss journey and lifestyle modification, she was experiencing extra skin of the abdomen and very loose sagging breasts, which adversely impacted her self-esteem and hindered her from enjoying her "new" slimmer body. This patient had a gastric sleeve operation 2 years prior to the body contouring surgery and had lost well over 100 pounds. She now feels more confident and better able to fit into their new clothing. In general, it is recommended that patients get to a stable weight after weight loss surgery which usually occurs at least 1 year to 18 months after the procedure. The patient's results were well preserved at this 2 year follow-up photograph.
