Concern
This 46-year-old woman had prior pregnancies and developed stretch marks and loose skin on her lower abdomen. She worked out, but despite this, was unable to eliminate the excess tissue and striata on her lower abdomen, as well as a diastasis.
Surgery
She underwent an abdominoplasty with diastasis repair and liposuction to the flanks and abdomen. Dr. Lyle uses Exparel, a long-lasting numbing medicine in surgery, to reduce pain from surgery.

She was very pleased with the new appearance of her abdomen, which now allows bathing suits and tighter clothing.
